Wave Defenders

Boat wakes and wind chop rock your dock, strain its connections and bang boats against pilings. PermaFloat wave attenuators break up incoming wave energy so the water behind them stays calmer, protecting your dock, your boats and everyone on the deck.

A Three-Part System

• Top Float (Foam-Filled): provides buoyancy, with a tough .200" nominal polyethylene shell
• Hollow Bottom Shell: fills with water once submerged to act as ballast
• Joiner Kit: Type 304 stainless bolts, washers and lock nuts to join the two

Each unit takes one top float, one bottom shell and one joiner kit. Order enough units to cover the dock edge you want to protect.

Where They Help

Use them on residential docks along busy lakes and channels, on the outer edge of marinas and multi-slip docks, and on docks exposed to open, windy water.

Build a Dock That Lasts

Pair attenuators with taller PermaFloat dock floats for extra freeboard, and use heavy-duty dock hardware such as a chain retainer or hoop pile holder to keep exposed docks anchored. Repairing a dock that's already taken a beating? Lift tanks raise sections for float replacement.
